Ronald McDonald House & Dayton Children’s Hospital Need Help! We will be collecting new and unwrapped items that are desperately needed for these two fine organizations. Items can be dropped off at Indian Ripple Dental Center from November 15th – December 18th during business hours. Drop off hours are: Tuesday 9-6, Wednesday – Friday 9-5, except closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday from Nov 21 – 26.

Each February, the American Dental Association (ADA) sponsors National Children’s Dental Health Month to raise awareness about the importance of oral health. NCDHM messages and materials have reached millions of people in communities across the country.

Beaver Creek Plaza – Get in the holiday spirit and bring the whole family out to enjoy carolers, the winner of the children’s poetry contest, the lighting of the village, fireworks, and a visit from Santa! All of these events take place around the ice rink in Beaver Creek Plaza, starting with a figure skating show at 5:00pm.

BEAVERCREEK – Students have voted and the 2012 Beavercreek High School Homecoming Court has been announced. Two members of the freshman, sophomore and junior classes will be honored during homecoming weekend, Sept. 21-22. Votes for senior homecoming king and queen have been narrowed down to five boys and five girls. The winners will be announced at a later date.

Garrett Alcorn, is a Senior who plays Varsity Football. Find him on the field under No. 77, playing Defensive and Offensive Lineman. Alcorn has played football for Beavercreek for the past 9 years. He has received the Beavercreek Coaches Award, Academic Honors, and has had special mention in All-GWOC. After High School, he will major in Pre-Med and hopes to one day become an orthopedic surgeon.
Kelly Mayhew is a senior Varsity Soccer player. Find her playing Midfield, No. 7. Mayhew is a 13-year soccer veteran. She has held a great deal of important positions for the Lady Beavers, including Varsity Captain. She plans to continue her soccer career through college at either Earlham or the College of Wooster, where she will major in biology.
